<p>Darren McPhee, 32, from Cowdenbeath, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday in connection with Stephen&rsquo;s death.</p>
<p>He is accused of causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop and not reporting the accident.</p>
<p>McPhee made no plea and was remanded in custody.</p>
