I DON'T DO THINGS BY SCRUM HALVES!

GEORGE HORNE has his sights set on becoming first choice for Scotland after savouring glory with Glasgow.

The scrum-half became the main man for Franco Smith's side after Ali Price moved mid-season to Edinburgh.

Horne's thrived on that responsibility and he was a star performer as Warriors stormed the play-offs to become URC champions last weekend.

Now the 29-year-old will celebrate for a few more days at home before joining up with the Scotland squad for the tour of North and South America.

Horne has been mainly used off the bench by Gregor Townsend but the Dundee-born players admits he wants to oust Ben White as well as Price to become a regular Scotland starter.
