BRITAIN'S deepest pothole has finally been repaired with a huge metal plate installed by a frustrated bus driver.
Stuart Ross carried out the patch-up himself after council bosses failed to tackle the mammoth hole during a monthlong blitz.
Stuart was forced to take action after his mini-bus service that takes tourists to Cape Wrath had to cease because of "waist-deep" potholes.
