THE woman who accused fantasist Nicholas Rossi of raping her has welcomed moves to send him to the US to face trial.

Rossi is wanted in the States on a rape charge after being tied to the crime by his DNA, which was taken by police investigating his alleged 2008 attack.

He has been fighting moves in Scotland to extradite him to the US after claiming to be an Irishman called Arthur Knight.

A judge will rule on the case this week.

His alleged victim, Mary Grebinski, 33, told how she was determined he should face justice in the US.

Mary, of Ohio, said: "None of this would have happened if it wasn't for me pursuing some kind of resolution to this. If he wasn't on the sex offender registry and I didn't keep pursuing legal charges against him, amid him fighting and playing dirty, none of this would have happened.
