I WANT TO ERASE BRAD MEMORIES

BRAD McKAY has the chance to rectify the lowest moment of his career.

And the Falkirk star has soared high over cliffs on a Scottish Cup adventure which has earned him this cherished opportunity.

The 30-year-old faces old club Inverness at Hampden for a place in Junes showpiece.

It's not the first time McKay has tackled the Highlanders in a semi-final and the memory of the previous effort holds no golden recollections.

Nine years ago as a Hearts kid, he felt agony when losing out in the League Cup last-four in sickening circumstances.

Leading the game 2-1 at Easter Road in the final seconds with Inverness down to nine men, the Tynecastle side were on their way.

But a dream day would turn sour for McKay when he gave the ball away, Nick Ross’ lastgasp leveller took the game to extra-time and Hearts lost the subsequent penalty shoot-out.

He recalled: That was the lowest point in my career. We were minutes away from going to the final with Hearts and we had the ball in the corner.

“I ended up giving it away and we conceded. I don't want to see scenes like that again. That was a low moment.
