Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber has the world at her feet. But the star of movie Bottoms vows she will make her own way

SHE is the daughter of one of the world’s most beautiful women but actress and model Kaia Gerber says she is determined to navigate her own way to the top.

The 22-year-old said that although Cindy Crawford, 57, is her biggest supporter, her supermodel mum has encouraged her to follow her own path.

Kaia, who stars in new teen sex comedy movie Bottoms, said she has never felt the pressure of having a mother who is such a huge star but is always striving to make her proud.

She added: “My mom is so supportive in everything I do and I’m very grateful for whatever advice she gives me.

“Whether it’s for films or whatever I’m doing she tells me to always be professional, to always be on time, be kind to everyone and to just follow my own path and my own instincts.

“I don’t feel there is added pressure that comes with being the daughter of Cindy Crawford.

“The most important thing for me is to make my mother proud.

“She has always been there for me, no matter what.

Kaia, who made her acting debut at 15 in Sister Cities and her runway debut a year later for Calvin Klein, said she loves her dual careers equally and hopes she will never have to choose between them.

The 5ft10in fashionista, whose father is businessman and model Rande Gerber, added: “Honestly, I couldn’t pick just one. I love both modelling and acting and I’m excited to do whatever comes next in both. I’m not looking to do one more than the other.”

Kaia, who has starred in American Horror Stories and Babylon, admitted she didn’t get an audition for her latest movie Bottoms, which is out now but refused to take no for an answer. The brunette beauty, who is dating Elvis actor Austin Butler, 32, said:
