I wasn't ready for my move to Millwall

KEVIN NISBET broke his silence on the decision to snub a “life-changing” move to Millwall in January – and admitted he didn’t feel ready.

The Hibs striker performed a shock 11th-hour U-turn as he visited the London club after terms had been agreed.

Four months on he has told of the overwhelming feeling the timing wasn’t right coming so soon after his return from an ACL rupture.

Nisbet is now expected to leave Leith in the summer and accepts tonight’s clash against Celtic – his 100th appearance for Hibs – could well be his last at Easter Road.

But he insists there’s no regrets over his Lions snub after Hibs accepted an offer in excess of £2.3million.

The Scotland star has scored 10 goals in 18 games since returning to action in December after nine months out with the knee injury.

With a year left on his deal, Millwall are set to go back in for him in the summer with Blackburn and Bristol City also interested in the 26-yearold, who has also been linked with Rangers and Celtic.
