TRIBUTES have poured in after the death of former Daily Record journalist and PR man lain Ferguson, who passed away this week.
Among those mourning his loss was his niece, former first minister Nicola Sturgeon.
The MSP took to social media sharing the tragic news of his passing.
She tweeted: "My wonderful Uncle Iain, known to many in the journalist world, has passed away.
"Thero-worshipped lain when I was a wee girl and have looked up to him all my life. He and I shared a love of books and constantly texted each other recommendations.
