After being told by Edinburgh Council there was “no housing in the city”, the pair were moved to another branch – in Dumfries.
Edinburgh Napier student Keri Kilbride, her partner Ryan Leslie and their dog Skye became homeless on June 20 after their rent increased.
Following an unsuccessful flat hunt, they turned to the council.
