LAWYER MURDER BID LEFT WALLS SOAKED IN BLOOD

A LAWYER has told how his office was left spattered in blood as a client tried to stab him to death.

Muhammad Shoaib, 71, feared he would die during the vicious attack by Esayas Neguse, who was jailed for 11 years yesterday for attempted murder.

Muhammad said: "I had to decorate my office because the walls were full of the blood which came out of my hand and my chest - it was that bad."

Two colleagues tackled Neguse, dragging him out of MS Solicitors on Glasgow's southside in September 2022.

Neguse, 37-from Eritrea in East Africa - initially stood trial but pleaded guilty after his victim gave evidence to the jury.
