Macca: I had such fun with pal Parky

SIR Paul McCartney has paid tribute to Sir Michael Parkinson, the "fun" friend he once persuaded to appear as a convict on a Wings album cover.

Parky, who died aged 88 last week, featured on the front of 1973 album Band on the Run, with Kenny Lynch, James Coburn, Clement Freud, Christopher Lee and John Conteh.

Sir Paul said he first met Parky when he went to see The Beatles play at the Cavern Club.
