A MUM has left her heartbroken children Christmas presents from beyond the grave after her death from cancer.
Mum-of-two Kirsten Bell died at her home in Falkirk on Sunday.
The 51-year-old hairdresser was diagnosed with terminal cancer in October and was given three months to live.
She died just days after her daughter's 16th birthday.
But brave Kirsten used her final days to make sure her kids Morgan, 19, and Lyla, 16, had something from their mum to open on Christmas Day.
Lyla told the Record: "It has been really tough losing Mum. We hoped she would be here for Christmas. It's going to be really hard waking up on Christmas without her. She was wonderful and did everything for us.
"She died three days after my birthday. I'm glad she got to be there because she was desperate to still be here for it.
