MURRAY WINS NEW CABINS FROG FIGHT

ANDY Murray has won a battle with wildlife campaigners who claimed woodland cabins in the grounds of his luxury hotel would disrupt frogs.

The double Wimbledon champion submitted proposals to build nine chalets to accommodate more guests at Cromlix hotel near his home town of Dunblane.

But the Scottish Wildlife Trust opposed the application over fears of the impact it will on breeding birds, frogs and toads.

The group said siting cabins near a pond was inappropriate and claimed the wildlife's environment would be ruined.
