NICK MONTGOMERY has challenged his Hibs stars to keep pushing the boundaries after setting a standard in Saturday's draw with Celtic.
The Easter Road club came in for criticism following last week's 4-0 drubbing from Rangers, only to show desire plus discipline to shut out the champions and take a point on their own turf.
New boss Montgomery insists belief is key in the big games, with Saturday's Viaplay Cup semi-final against Aberdeen coming hot on the heels of tonight's visit of Ross County.
He said: "Coming up against the better teams is where your identity can be tested. We stood strong at the weekend and played really well.
"We defended resolutely and had to because they are a top team.
"What's important is the team are developing and improving.
"You have ups and downs but what's really key is that when you have the downs, you stick to the game plan and bounce back in the best way possible.
