NICKY Campbell has revealed an internet troll who falsely accused him of being the BBC star at the centre of a scandal has been cautioned by police and paid him a cash settlement.
The Radio 5 Live presenter was among a group of male BBC stars falsely named after it emerged another presenter had allegedly paid £35,000 for explicit photographs.
Newsreader Huw Edwards was later revealed as being the famous face at the centre of the claims and has since retired from the corporation on medical grounds.
