The health of three-quarters had suffered and three-fifths said financial pressure had affected their studies.
A massive 99 per cent said their finances caused some&nbsp;concern. The Nursing and Midwifery Council's report said: "At a time when the cost of living crisis is putting additional pressure on nursing students, a fair financial package has never been more important to encourage more people to take the undergraduate degree route."
It added: "Although demand for registered&nbsp;nurses is increasing, there is a risk that trends in nursing student education indicate further gaps and shortages may affect the future workforce and delivery of health and care.
Labour's health spokeswoman Jackie Baillie said ending the workforce crisis is "key to ending the chaos engulfing our NHS".
The Scottish Government was approached for comment.
