Little Oona Dooks, 10, had long looked out of her window from her Edinburgh home at climbers and wished that she could scale the hill.
But the wheelchair-bound schoolgirl thought she would never see her dream come true.
Until mum Eleanor put out a request on social media for help.
Rugby clubs Edinburgh Giants and Edinburgh Eagles stepped up. And Paradventures and GM4X All Terrain Wheelchairs Bike & Services provided the equipment for the adventure.
After a year of planning, Oona and the team scaled the peak of Arthur’s Seat last Sunday.
