A SCOTS beautician injured in a scooter accident in Bali could be flown to Australia for treatment.

Charlene Morrissey is facing amputation of her fingers after she was knocked from her scooter into the path of a lorry, injuring her arm.

The 33-year-old, from Airdrie, had been working there for six months, when she was injured on July 21.

Doctors gave her multiple blood transfusions in an effort to save her limb.

But treatment was stopped after it emerged the travel insurance firm would not pay, forcing Charlene's family to fork out £50,000 for bills.
