William Munro, from Glasgow, was banned from the profession after a watchdog found he swore and used unnecessary physical force while transferring a patient to a wheelchair. The former Scottish Ambulance Service worker, who was previously rapped for refusing to attend 999 calls, was working in Wales at the time of the incident.
A hearing of the Health and Care Professions&nbsp;Tribunal Service struck the 68-year-old's name from the register following two previous suspension orders.
Munro was working for the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust when he was called to help colleagues with an intoxicated patient who was&nbsp;being verbally abusive in January 2019.
He was found to have held the patient by the arm and face and told her: "Do that again and I will break your f****** arm." In its report, the watchdog said: "The HCPC submits that a strike-off order would be both&nbsp;necessary for the protection of the public and it is otherwise in the public interest.
"In light of the gravity of the allegations, lack of insight and remorse, the HCPC submits that a second extension of the suspension order would not be proportionate."
