CAMPAIGNING poet and Peaky Blinders actor Benjamin Zephaniah has died, aged 65.
Known for his sharp social commentary and playing Jeremiah Jesus in the gangster TV show, he had recently been diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Zephaniah’s family said: “It is with great sadness and regret that we announced the death of our beloved husband, son and brother in the early hours of this morning, 7th December 2023.
