PLAY ON McBETH

GLASGOW have been given a boost ahead of Saturday’s URC showpiece against the Bulls with the news Nathan McBeth has been passed fit to play a part in South Africa.

The former Scotland Under-20s prop missed out on Saturday’s semi-final victory over Munster after being concussed in the last eight against the Stormers.

But he has passed all the tests needed to be allowed to play again and has flown out with the rest of the squad for the blockbuster in Pretoria.

Franco Smith brought Murphy Walker on to his bench in place of McBeth for the Munster clash, the only change the head coach made to the matchday 23.

The South African will now have to decide whether to keep faith in Walker or go with his original choice.
