CASPER NILSSON marked moving into new digs in midweek with two trips to IKEA and a serving of meatballs.

But the Swedish kid says he has arrived in Maryhill ready-made to hit the ground running even if the odd Glaswegian accent may need to slow down.

Nilsson, 20, is set for his Partick Thistle debut at Falkirk today after being drafted in on loan from Brighton. The right-back admits he knew nothing about Jags until asked if he fancied the move.

But having left Malmo for the Seagulls at 16, he's got the manual on how to settle into new surroundings.

Asked if his experience of moving abroad so young will help this time, he said: "Yeah, now I am used to it, I've been living on my own for two years in Brighton so I know how it is.

"Moving was tough at the beginning because I was struggling with English and the English accent.
