ANGUS MacNeil has been suspended from the SNP after slamming its plans to achieve independence.
The MP had earlier this week refused to rejoin the party's Westminster group after serving a temporary suspension following a row with a colleague.
MacNeil, who has represented Na h-Eileanan an Iar since 2005, clashed with SNP chief whip Brendan O'Hara.
