Raging boss tells flops there's no hiding place as data highlights drop off in effort

STEVEN MacLEAN has flops warned St Johnstone's there's no hiding place if they let the side down.

Macca berated his team for toiling to a second successive Premiership defeat on Saturday at Ross County.

And the data he crunched after getting home backed up his belief that the effort was awful. MacLean insists he'll refuse to soft-soap the failings he sees until his Saints get the basics right.

He said: "Your eye doesn't lie and these days it's backed up by what the sports scientist has access to.

"He sent me all the details on Saturday night, so you can show them they didn't run as much as they did against Hearts or tackle as much as they did against Hearts.

"I was disappointed with that after the game and it still disappoints me. It should disappoint the players too.
