FOOTBALL legend Sir Bobby Charlton died after breaking his ribs in a fall, an inquest heard.
The 1966 World Cup winner, who suffered from dementia, hit a windowsill and "possibly a radiator" after getting out of a chair at his care home.
The inquest was yesterday told that X-rays showed the former Manchester United star had fractured his ribs.
