A SERIAL rapist who also hounded women on Instagram was yesterday jailed for almost 13 years.
Steffan Cox, 25, had told one victim how he would rape her so that her child could hear her cries.
He carried out the sick crimes between 2016 and 2021 in Paisley, Argyll and Bute, and the Inner&nbsp;Hebrides. Cox was sentenced yesterday at the High Court in Glasgow after being convicted, at an earlier hearing, of raping three women and sexually assaulting another. Before the trial he had pled guilty to sending and making sexual communications to 15 other females.
Jailing him for 12 years&nbsp;and nine months, Lord Young told Cox, who has a previous conviction for a sex offence, he appeared to have "an obsession with rape". He said many of the women targeted were identified through their Instagram accounts.
"These calls included threats of rape to some of your victims. One was only 15 at the time," he added.
