KEIR Starmer is on course for No10 after dramatic wins in this week's two crunch by-elections.
The party overturned massive Tory majorities in the Tamworth and Mid Bedfordshire ballots, with swings of 23.9% and 20.5% respectively.
Mr Starmer said Labour was "redrawing the political map". He said: "Winning in these Tory strongholds shows people overwhelmingly want change and they are ready to put their faith in our changed Labour Party to deliver it."
Former Tory Chancellor George Osborne had said losing Mid Beds would mean "Armageddon is coming for the Tory party. And Betfair Exchange slashed the odds on Labour winning a majority at the next election to 4/11 from 2/5.
