Jones and Co pile on the misery for Foxes
THAT'S GOT TO CURT

LIVERPOOL’S Trent Alexander-Arnold curled in an unstoppable screamer to cap a fine win which left Leicester facing the drop.

Curtis Jones set the visitors on their way, netting twice in quick succession to keep Liverpool’s top-four bid alive.

Jones struck in the 33rd and 36th minutes to ensure the Foxes remain 19th in the relegation zone.

Alexander-Arnold then rounded off the win in the second half to earn Liverpool a seventh win in a row after smashing in a short free-kick.

It left home fans streaming to the exits with their side two points from safety with two games left.

Liverpool showed they are determined to take the top-four battle right to the wire.

On the fight for Champions League places boss Jurgen Klopp said: “It’s all we can do. I don’t think it’s likely ( finishing in the top four) when you see how they play, they have so much quality.

“It would be a real shame if they slip and we’re not there. So we have to do our job.

“I think we have qualified for European football which six weeks ago wasn’t in sight.
