SIR Rod Stewart isn't afraid of dying - after being locked in a coffin when he was younger.
As a teenager the rocker, now 78, worked as a plot measurer for London's Highate Cemetery.
Sir Rod revealed: "The initiation process when I was a grave digger although I didn't dig many graves - was they put you in a coffin and they closed the top and put a nail in it and see if you scream.
"This happened to me. I dunno whether this is why I haven't got a fear (of death)."&nbsp;

However, father-of-eight Rod, who also has three grandchildren, does work on keeping his health in check.
In 2019 he revealed he'd beaten prostate cancer after a secret three-year battle with the illness.
It was the second time he'd been treated for cancer.
Speaking to iHeart podcasts, Rod admitted he's now "very, very health conscious.
He said: "I have blood tests five times a year, so you might call me paranoid hyper, but I believe in taking, making use of modern-day medicine.
