TRAVIS FRAN: I FEARED I'D SINK

TRAVIS star Fran Healy has revealed his band's new album was inspired by heartache and the break-up of his marriage.

The singer, 50, said he recorded his 10th album with the band, L.A. Times, after his marriage ended and one of his best friends died of cancer.

Travis also sacked the manager they had worked with for 25 years.

"It was like being in a storm and you think you might sink, Healy, 50, said.

"Then it clears, because that's what life does and coming out the other end is this record.
