EMMA Willis says she regrets letting her children have smartphones, after taking part in a documentary about the devices' effects on young brains.
The Voice presenter and Busted musician husband Matt made their whole family give up smartphones for 21 days for the TV series.
Year 8 pupils from Stanway School in Colchester, Essex, also took on the challenge, with scientists measuring the effects.
Some children struggled at first but were found to sleep better and be more alert in class. Some had reduced anxiety levels.
