We can get city Glasgoing again

A NEW "recovery" commission will be launched to reboot Glasgow over claims of filthy streets and a struggling city economy.

Labour MSP Pauline McNeill, who is leading the project, said experts will hear evidence on revitalising Glasgow.

Senior business figures, PAYS threatens today's ope UCI Worl Championship into chaos. Un including Em and parking voted for of ac politicians and trade unionists have become exasperated at the state of the city after years of cuts to services.

Labour's commission, which will have private sector input, will be geared to setting Glasgow on a path to prosperity. Key issues include assistance for Glasgow Airport and linking public transport to the night-time economy.

The remit also focuses on boosting inward investment as well as helping sectors such as retail and the taxi trade.
