WE CAN'T BELIEVE HE'S GONE

THE death of a teenage boy has sent shockwaves through his school as pals gathered to pay tribute to him.

Hamdan Aslam, 14, was rushed to hospital after falling unwell during his lunch break at St Kentigern's Academy in Blackburn, West Lothian, on Tuesday.

Reports claimed Hamdan, from Greenrigg in West Lothian, choked during a social media challenge called "tap out". However, his cause of death is yet to be confirmed.

Staff at the school are understood to have performed CPR at the scene but Hamdan could not be saved.

Tearful friends of the tragic youngster laid floral tributes outside the school gates yesterday, with many of them penning heartbreaking messages of shock and grief.
