The Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register says Parry Malm's photo is "compelling new evidence" of the&nbsp;existence of the mythical creature.
The snap, taken on April 4, shows a dark object close to Urquhart Castle on the banks of the loch. It was yesterday accepted by the official register as this year's first sighting of Nessie.
Londoner Parry, who was on holiday in Scotland with wife Shannon and their two kids, said: "We were a few hundreds yards from Urquhart Castle when Shannon spotted what looked like the black head of an animal bobbing up and down, it then moved away and was going against the current so it must have been a living creature. We watched it for 3-4 minutes before it disappeared.
"I was a total sceptic before we went to Loch Ness but now I think there must be something there."
