A MESSAGE in a bottle that appears to be from canoe fraudster John Darwin has washed up on a British beach.

A boy of 12 made the shocking find 22 years after it was supposedly written on the notorious criminal's final "fatal" trip.

The youngster was picking litter along a secluded area of beach in Eastbourne, East Sussex, when he came across a plastic bottle.
