BOFFINS aim to sniff out alien life by building a mammoth telescope which can detect E.T.s’ farts.

Scientists are developing the mega Habitable Worlds Observatory scope to boldly go way beyond Uranus in the hunt for little green men.

It will analyse light passing through the atmosphere of rocky Earth-like planets outside our solar system.
