Jennings, 30, looks set to play his first Test since February 2019 when the series begins on December 1&nbsp;- and that recall has been a long time coming.
But in the three years since his last start, Jennings has hardly been kicking his heels, as his CV demonstrates.
"I've just passed my MBA and I'll miss my graduation&nbsp;while I'm in Pakistan," he said. "But I think an England tour is a lovely substitute for that.
"How did I combine the two? With a lot of hard work and grit! I was at the Alliance Manchester Business School and it was brilliant.
"I'm not going to lie, it was&nbsp;one of the hardest things I've done. It was intense."
A Pakistan tour will be just as intense - but Jennings is determined to find the joy in being away from home.
"I love travelling," he added.&nbsp;"The chance to go somewhere I've never been is something I'm really excited about."
