STREET parties for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee have been axed by killjoy council chiefs.
Up to 10million people are set to attend neighbourhood bashes to mark Her Majesty’s 70 years on the throne.
But thousands of people have been left devastated after their events were cancelled following a handful of complaints.
Both Richmond Council in Greater London and Hull City Council have backtracked on parties planned for June 4.
One event for 3,000 people in Barnes, west London, was scrapped after a few locals complained they did not want buses diverted down their road.
