STUART BROAD has sent out a warning to the Aussies that he intends to be “fitter, stronger” and bowling even better by the time the Ashes comes around.

Broad is “hungry” to be red hot and raring to go for another bid to regain the urn and is already relishing “taking the new ball” against David Warner and Co.

Despite proving himself one of the world’s premier Test bowlers again this summer, he will spend the winter working hard to improve his energy, power and skill levels.

Broad, 36, thriving under the new leadership of Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes, also admits the sheer “fun” of the “Bazball” revolution could twist his arm into extending his Test career even longer.
