A MOTHER has spoken of her pride in her baby girl who survived after being born weighing less than a loaf of bread.

Lauren Ormston, 27, was told tiny Isla – who entered the world at 23 weeks – had only a 10% chance of pulling through.

Isla was diagnosed with a level two bleed on the brain and a hole in the heart. Now 10lb 8oz, she was finally discharged after five months fighting for life in hospital.
