Leaving dirty cups and plates lying around along with clogging the sink and shower drains with hair completed the top three in a new survey by Plumbworld.
Eleanor Potter, from the company, said: "Few of us can profess to be perfect and many of us are occasionally guilty of little behaviours that can irk - our family and friends.
"We wanted to get to the bottom of the most - common bad habits in households across the UK.
"It's interesting to see&nbsp;how not replacing toilet paper when it's empty is the most common pet peeve.
"It's an easy oversight to make but it can be deemed as selfish or displaying a lack of respect for others in the household by not having the courtesy to replenish the loo roll!"&nbsp;
