CORRIE legend Geoffrey Hinsliff has died at the age of 86.
The veteran actor played Don Brennan from 1987 until 1997.
He passed away at home this week after a short illness, his family revealed.
His character became one of Corrie's most notorious villains, involved in a series of gripping storylines.
When Don's on-off affair with Julie Dewhurst ended, he crashed his car in an attempt to take his life but survived.
