RIVAL curry kings have stirred up a right argy-bhaji over their Ruby Murrays.
Restaurant chain Dishoom has launched a legal battle to have another food chief stripped of owning exclusive rights to use the Cockney rhyming slang.
Five years ago London businessman Tariq Aziz was granted permission by the Intellectual Property Office to describe a curry as a "Ruby Murray"&nbsp; the name of a famous 1950s singer.
But Dishoom has applied to&nbsp;revoke the registration. The chain claims Mr Aziz has not used the name Ruby Murray in a commercial way so the registration should be scrapped.
A Dishoom spokesman said: "It wishes to remove the 'monopoly' on the use of Ruby Murray so&nbsp;it can be used freely by anyone when referring to curry." But Mr Aziz said: "I don't want the trademark to be revoked."
A spokesman for the IPO said: "The registered owner has until July 15 to offer a defence."
