A poll found people aged 25 to 34 typically exercise 13 days a month.
But the over-75s put in an average of 16 days a month - despite a quarter admitting they don't enjoy it.
Over-65s are also most inclined to get up and exercise in the morning, whereas 65% of Gen Z prefer to exercise in the afternoon or evening.
