PIZZA-lovers could face shortages after staff at a major supermarket supplier voted to strike.
Workers at Bakkavor are set to down cheese graters in a row over pay.
The GMB union said: “Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose are among many supermarkets set to face pizza shortages as workers vote for strike action.”
It said Bakkavor Pizza’s plant in Harrow, north-west London, “faces severe disruption after months of negotiations on pay ends with GMB members’ rejection of a 5.9% pay deal”.
