Johan Lundgren, who has been chief executive of the airline since 2017, said: "The booking momentum continues to be strong and the heatwave doesn't seem to be a deterrent."
Easyjet said it has 163 aircraft on order for delivery though to 2028, but was now "running a process to secure additional firm order positions for our longer-term fleet plan."
