Harry and Meghan were accompanied by a film crew as they visited the ski resort of Whistler in British Columbia to mark one year to go until the next games for military veterans. Harry tried out sit-skiing, joking “do I need to sign a waiver?” before setting off.
The prince founded the Paralympic-style competition in 2014 for injured and sick military personnel and veterans to aid their recovery.
At the games next year around 550 competitors from up to 25 nations will compete, with winter sports on the schedule for the first time.
The visit comes amid a row after Harry and Meghan relaunched their website using their royal titles. The couple’s new site, sussex.com, replaces their former website, archewell.com, and has provoked accusations that they were still trading on their royal status.
