ROY HODGSON has been tasked with keeping Crystal Palace in the Premier League, after he agreed to come out of retirement and make a remarkable return to Selhurst Park at the age of 75.
The ex-England manager this morning signed a deal until the end of the season, following talks with chairman Steve Parish yesterday.
Hodgson takes over from Patrick Vieira, who was sacked on Friday after a run of 11 Premier League matches without a win left Parish concerned over whether the club could avoid relegation.
