Knives out as owners row over celebrity Notting Hill restaurant

A DISPUTE has broken out among the owners of a fashionable west London Italian restaurant where celebrity diners have included David Beckham, Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne and David Cameron.

Restaurateur Andrea Fraquelli has accused two fellow shareholders of reneging on a deal to pay him £350,000 for a 10 per cent share in business Getti Holdings, which owns La Brasseria Notting Hill on Westbourne Grove, and sister venue La Brasseria Milanese in Marylebone. Their first instalment of £100,000 was paid in February when the shares were transferred to a company called Benchlevel, which is jointly owned by local landlord and developer Warren Todd and his business partner Graham Hedger.

But a second instalment of £250,000 was not handed over when it was due in April prompting Mr Fraquelli, who had decided to start a new venture in New York, to launch a legal claim for the outstanding sum plus interest.
