This Van Gogh blockbuster is simply stellar

The show hasn’t opened yet but already the critics are talking about the exhibition of the year. It is a chance to see the best works of the last couple of years of the artist’s life, after he moved to Arles from Paris in 1888.

Two years later he would be dead, but the work he produced in Arles and in the hospital at St-Remy where he took refuge during his bouts of mental instability show him at the height of his powers.
